Stay Informed, Stay Empowered, Stay South Dakota

In the past, the values of South Dakota’s lawmakers have been to please their donors rather than the people they have sworn to represent. Being born and raised in South Dakota, I understand the values of traditions that we hold dear to our hearts. I also understand, however, the growth we need to work towards as a state, both socially and economically. Rather than engaging in big corporate greed, I want to encourage the small businesses, the helpful neighbors, and the betterment of Lawrence County.

Meet Morgan!

A person with short curly dark hair, glasses, and a septum piercing, standing with arms crossed in front of a grand marble staircase with ornate railings and a gold and marble interior background.

Hi everyone, my name is Morgan Plucker! I was born and raised in Canton, SD. I graduated from Canton High School in 2019, after which I moved out to Spearfish to attend Black Hills State University. I graduated from BHSU in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science. My majors were in Political Science and American Indian Studies, and my minors were in History and Philosophy. I am currently set to graduate with my master’s from the University of Oklahoma College of Law by the end of Summer 2026. My program is in Indigenous Peoples Law, but a non-lawyer program.
